The curtain is effective when used to block noise entering through a specific opening, such as a window, door, picture window, or small opening. It will be less effective if the noise is primarily coming through a shared wall, ceiling, floor, or structural vibrations.

Check before ordering: condition of the seals, roller shutter box, vents, old window frame, and space around the door or window.

Dimensions and Installation: Important Guidelines

Width: Allow for a generous overlap to minimize sound leakage from the sides.
Height: Whenever possible, aim for a length that falls close to the floor.
Rail: recommended for more continuous coverage and a better drape.
Eyelets: Note that the ridges reduce the actual width covered.
Ruflette: The hooks must be placed in the designated pockets, never in the cords.
